Life experiences led me to innovation.
Necessity truly is the mother of invention.
Nothing frightens you more and gives you more clarity than a sick baby. You want to do whatever is needed to make your baby/child healthy.
2006- After nearly losing my son at the age of two to a virus, I found that every electrolyte drink on the market at the time had a horrible taste and nasty artificial colors and preservatives. So I began to innovate and collaborated with scientists and formula developers to make a tasty baby and kids organic pediatric electrolyte that kids would actually want to drink. I sold the product to stores like Whole Foods and natural foods markets nationwide.
From the beginning, my strategy was to create each product with the Earth in mind. Eco-friendly was my strategy at a time when most people had no idea what that meant.
2019- My mom's surgery to remove her cancer inspired me to research optimizing "margin control" in cases of resected gallbladder malignancies.
My passion is in tumor cryoablation and I have had support for my research of adopting this technology for margin treatment. My cancer research led to letters of recommendation from doctors and surgeons to the Clinical and Translational Research program at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Fast forward to 2024, I have innovated 6 consumer products. All of my products solve problems.
